Laptop bag/briefcase for work

A few years ago I had a Radley “briefcase” in chocolate brown leather. It had a padded section for a laptop, enough room for Ikea in another section, a zip and a shoulder strap.

It wasn’t getting much use and I decided it looked naff and sold it on eBay. Fast forward a few years and I have a laptop and actually need something like this but I can’t find what I’m looking for.

Can anyone help? Budget not an issue for the right thing, but I don’t want something that is essentially a handbag where everything is going to flop about inside, it must have sections and a zip to keep everything contained. My laptop is only 13” I think but it needs to have enough room for files which are larger than A4 - foolscap size.

I've got this from Knomo. I bought it on-line for about £220.

Thanks. I’ve seen some of the Knomo ones. That one looks very big! But I suppose it’s going to have to be a reasonable size to fit everything in. I will mostly have my handbag with me too.

Congratulations obviously...

I don't find my Knomo that big really. I'd don't bother with a separate handbag as there is plenty of room to fit everything is normally carry in a handbag and a laptop bag.

I always recommend knomo on these threads! Beautiful bags and brilliantly functional.
