Veleo - Dyson Hairdryer

Hi, I want to buy a dyson hairdryer. I've seen a great offer on Veleo, but I've never heard of this company. Has anyone bought anything from them? I just want to check that this isn't some kind of scam.

Never heard of them. But just to say, boots are doing £10 of points for every £50 spend, so you could get lots of points if you buy it there.

I’ve been watching the Dyson hairdryer ever since it came out and have never seen it discounted anywhere. I’d be extremely wary about purchasing from an unknown site at a discount price; in fact, I’d be astonished if it were anything other than a fake. The best you can reasonably hope for would be to buy from a place with a good loyalty/rewards scheme. The price seems rigidly fixed.

If you want to be sure, you could email Dyson directly and ask if that site is a recognized supplier?

I tried buying one through Veleo. When it didn't arrive I tried emailing - no response. Phoning - phone went dead. The companies House number was for a different company. Oddly no money has gone from my account, so I've cancelled my credit card and bought the Dyson through Boots. Over £50 worth of points if you buy before midnight this eve...

Please don't touch Veleo with a bargepole. It is a total scam and you won't receive a hairdryer or anything from them!

Not quite correct about them never being discounted! I got mine on the bargain shelf at John Lewis for £150. Had been a return (possibly used once) and fully checked over. They just couldn't sell it as new. Would buy another at full price though if I ever list the one I have.

Don't know Veleo - but I love my Dyson hairdryer!
