Getting ears re pierced

Has anyone had their ears re pierced years after theyve closed up? Do they pierce over the the same hole that was there? I think mine would be a bit squint if they didn’t. I miss wearing earrings but I did have issues wearing cheap jewellery in the past but thinking I could just make sure I only wear silver/gold/titanium if I was to get them done again.

One of mine was repierced over the old hole and the other wasn't as the old piercings were uneven. I hadn't worn earrings for 10 years or more.

Both were fine. It's nice to wear earrings again.

That’s good, did you get them done at a piercer with a needle? It’s been over 10 years for me too. Not sure I even still have any earrings anywhere!

Have you tried to get an earring in?? I had seconds and 1 third done over 30 years ago and can still get them in though never ever use them!

Yes I have. I had my 2nd holes re pierced with a needle. It was fine and they went in through the original hole.
No problems since!
