Which shoes should I wear with this dress?

I am wearing this dress with a black coat to a funeral. Which shoes can I wear with it which will be comfortable? We need to go to the cemetery after the service So I do not want high heels.

I would be pretty cold outside at this time of year so it'd be smart knee-high flat black boots.

I think I'd prefer tights and shoes rather than boots.

I would wear thick black tights and ankle boots. Where is the dress from? It would suit me!

I would echo thick black tights and fairly practical shoes if you are going to the cemetery. So black boots or something without a crazy heal. There can be lots of standing around at funerals I find.

The last thing you want is to be worried about your footwear in the middle of it all.

I'd second opaque or thick tights with ankle boots. I really like the dress too, can you say where it's from please?

I'd wear black tights and nice ankle boots . They are more comfy than shoes

I got the dress from French Connection. My mother loved flowers and I wouldn't want to wear all black. I'm going to be on my feet all day so comfort is essential! I suppose boots below the knee could work but where could I get some very sobre ones as most of the ones I see have heels, tassels, sparkles on them. I do love wearing boots but always feel a bit of a gardener wearing them! Or I was thinking black block heel shoes. Something nice but something practical! Ankle boots are lovely but maybe a bit too cool for me!

And thank you for the compliments on the dress. It took me ages looking at dresses and I felt this one was very apt to wear to say goodbye to my mother!
