Silk Fred

I ordered a couple of tops from Silk Fred today. I had a look at their website after seeing ads on Facebook and was quite impressed by the selection. I'm finding it really hard to find clothes I like in the shops (I'm early 40's), but they had quite a few bits I liked.

If any of you have bought things from them, would you mind letting me know what their sizing and quality is like?

It's a marketplace of different suppliers. So the sizing won't be the same across all Silk Fred. Did you check returns? You used to have to make separate returns to each supplier. Not sure if that is still the case.

I bought a Dancing Leopard dress from there and the sizing was pretty standard.

The quality wasn’t up to much though. I bought a wrap dress and the material wasn’t very nice. It puts me off wearing it. Don’t think I’d buy again.

I've bought from there and the sizing was fine- true to size.
I bought a wrap dress, I think this was also from Dancing Leopard and the material wasn't amazing. It's a nice print and nice fit but probably not worth £47! I also bought a blouse in the sale for £15 which was similar- nice colour and fit but material not great.
That said, I would probably buy from there again.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't realise it was a market place. Sounds like the quality is mixed, but that seems to be the case everywhere, unless you have ££'s to spend!

Their rubbish return system is still the case - you have to pay to return to however many separate retailers your stuff came from. Noooo thank you.

I like dancing leopard dresses but you can get direct from them . Free returns and quick refunds too.

I bought a shien jumpsuit and I was hideous. Quality was a joke.

Cheap and nasty rubbish!

You’re better off with the cheapie high street staples like new look and primark.
