Is there any solution to jeans that fall down slightly?

I've tried various sized and brands and have come to the conclusion that it's my body shape.

Any solution out there?

A belt?

Elasticated belts are a saviour if you're oddly shaped like me and you can't get jeans that fit perfectly.

SheeshazAZ09 · 05/02/2019 12:49

Yes an elasticated belt to be precise, so it doesn't just cut off your circulation. Having said that, I have never found jeans that both fit me and are comfortable, so I don't wear them. Leggings with appropriate top are much better for me. But even they start to fall down after an hour or so of gardening....

I’ve seen a hack a few times where they add a little piece of elastic at the back of the waistband. I’ve not tried it but it looks as if it would solve that gaping waistband problem. Not sure if that would be enough for you.

A belt?!

SassitudeandSparkle · 05/02/2019 13:31

Jeans always seem to gape at my lower back, I should go for the elastic method myself! A belt has been my only solution so far, OP.

Yes, a belt.

I have almost given up on jeans - I have a big difference between waist and hips. Elastane in the jeans seems to help, as does a longer top (with a waist itself, if you see what I mean).

And, yes, a belt. Or possibly braces, if you want to go vintage.

I find going for lighter fabrics rather than heavy denim is helpful, as heavy weighty fabrics pull themselves down.

Also high waisted helps.

And an elasticated belt
