Where to get nice yet affordable merino tops?

A few years ago I bought two thin merino tops from ME&EM online which have scoop necks. They're perfect but I need more - they don't sell them anymore. I am always freezing so need real wool base layers!

The only other merino top I have is a skiing base layer from Millets or similar. Unfortunately these always seem to have a high neck and a 'sporty' look with seams up the shoulders etc, they don't look very stylish as normal tops!

I just want a normal long sleeve top, ideally with a scoop/not too high neck, made from merino wool... and at an affordable price. I am clearly asking too much!

yes, uniqlo!

Uniqlo have jumpers, not tops. That said, I was close to buying a v-neck jumper to use as a top this year because the v-neck was nice and deep.

I got a couple of polo necks from Jigsaw in the sales at £49 each but I imagine there are cheaper options out there.

I've noticed some Merino base layers in
Aldi!
