I am looking for a summer wedding guest dress and need your help please to list any brands that you can think of .

I don’t like dressing up and am finding it quite difficult . I have booked a personal shopper at John Lewis in March but want to also look for myself .
I’m a bit fussy too which doesn’t help !

So any names you can think of please that I may have missed in my trawling to web !

Budget up to £250 for the perfect dress ( that could be worn again )

Thank you

I've recently bought a few dresses from Closet London and have been really impressed with cut and quality. Have you looked there?

OrcinusOrca · 03/02/2019 06:54

I wore a nice wedding guest dress from Hobbs last year.

BendyBusBuggy · 03/02/2019 06:57

Brora do nice dresses

2dogsandPG · 03/02/2019 07:08

I like Ted Baker, Coast and Hobbs for wedding guest dresses.

Thank you - have looked at all but not Closet London - I’ll look now .
I’ll continue to look at the New Arrival sections of the others though .

Do you know what sort of thing you’re looking for as that would help make recommendations. Likewise a basic idea of your size/shape/age will guide us. Are you absolutely sure you want a dress? A cool tux and silky cami are in your budget and might feel more you. Or even a jumpsuit?

@SpeckledyHen

As @GemmeFatale says, a guide to your stylet etc will help. With your budget, I'd look at Rumour London if you like structure; Anthropologie if you like floaty; the Outnet and Wolf & Badger for a general mooch. I like structure, so brands like Paul Smith are good for me.

verite · 03/02/2019 10:07

Reiss, whistles, OUTNET

SuperstarDJ · 03/02/2019 10:10

Rixo? A couple under the £250 mark on the net a porter site plus some more in the sale section.

They’re quite summer wedding imo though it depends on your height and body shape.

I’m trying to keep an open mind and just asking for help with brand names at this stage - anything and everything you can think of .

Lots of suggestions in the last few postings that are new names to me - thank you all . I’ll have a good look and be prepared for more specific ‘ help ‘ requests as I get closer !
