Warm waterproof outdoor/snow boots for 3 year old boy?! Help!

Hi all, can anyone recommend some lightweight, slim fit, comfortable, waterproof and warm outdoor boots for a 3 year old boy who really feels the cold? Wellies aren't cutting it (he's not a fan of thick socks) and says they feel cold anyway.

Some of the snow boots look really cumbersome and I can't tell if they have any kind of warm/cosy lining.

Please help! He's refusing to go out anywhere so need to order something on fast delivery!

Mountain warehouse have fleece lined wellies. DD wore hers this morning and no complaints of the cold.

There’s some cosy ones in Sainsbury’s we’ve had them the last few years.

@ClattyCooMin I've just found some on Sainsbury's online and they do look so comfy/cosy - if says they have a fleece lining. No mention of being waterproof though and it looks like the top of the foot would just get wet :( what a shame.

I got some from mountain warehouse. They're lighter than they look and very cosy. Definitely waterproof despite torrential rain at forest school although I spray them regularly as well.

My ds has had them for the past 3 years, they’re waterproof for sure, his feet don’t get wet in them...

@ClattyCooMin Great, I'm going to order them now, thanks so much!!

@daipaned what waterproofing spray do you use? and does it work for coats too?

Decathlon always have wellies with removable toasty warm linings. My kids have always loved them. Makes the wellies a lot more comfy too

If you're anywhere near a decathlon store, these are perfect. Warm waterproof all the way up with a tread.

If you do decide on Sainsbury's they have their 25% off in the next week or two I think.

@millionaireshortie I've been using an Aldi one for the past few years. It's only around £3 and works on bags/coats/boots etc. I help run forest school sessions so it gets plenty of testing and it's just as good as more expensive ones I've tried. It's seasonal though so stock up if you see it!
