a dressy flat shoe similar to this?

Hi,

Could anyone help me find a dressy flat shoe similar to this but in black?

I really like the fairly high vamp (hoping to avoid toe cleavage!) and the ankle strap. And looking for something decent quality - I have a similar old pair from new look that I'd like to upgrade.

Thanks to anyone that can help!

What's your budget and shoe size?

No ankle strap
Slingbacks
Ballet flat with strap
Cross over strap
Ankle strap
Expensive

Budget ~£100 I guess. I'm a 7/EU41

I really want something in pretty much the exact same style - ankle strap that sits above the ankle bone, and only covering the front half of the foot (definitely not a ballet flat).

I'm looking for something that shortens the foot visually, which is why I really liked the cut of the ones in my OP that cut straight across the top of the foot. My feet are quite flat so they tend to look flipper-like!

Thanks for your suggestions

I can't find the link on the website, but I bought something very similar in River Island around Christmas time. Might still be some in store.

I bought a black pair in exactly that style from Oasis in summer. Not sure if they still have them?

Look at Paul Green, there were a lot of shoes like this but about 2 years ago.
Or Google ghillie shoes?

I was looking for something similar last year and discovered there’s a special name for that style.

Buggered if I can remember it though.

Is the term you mean d'orsay?

What about these?

NigellasGuest · 01/02/2019 20:09

No probs! I believe d'orsay refers to the cut down sides part of the shoe (not the strappy part)

bingoitsadingo · 02/02/2019 14:19

Ooh those zalando ones look great, thank you. Never ordered from there before - how are they for returns if I ordered a couple of sizes?

Zalando are very good for returns, 100 day window and you can book a collection online or drop off at a local Hermes point. I can’t remember though how long the refund took, I returned a pair of boots last year.
