Can anyone recommend a full coverage long lasting foundation that I can buy in Boots. Oh and has to be suitable for dry skin! I'm not asking much am I? Grin

I really like the Boots No 7 foundations. The colour match ones. There are a few different types. I keep coming back to them over more expensive ones.

Bourjois healthy mix serum is lovely. Medium coverage, not too matt and doesn't oxidize on me.

ArieltheMermaid1720 · 01/02/2019 08:18

Oh just realised you said full coverage...then Revlon colourstay. Apparently it's a dupe for doublewear but I never found it as drying as doublewear. You can get it for dry skin.

helpmepleasee · 01/02/2019 08:21

L'Oréal infallible 24hr wear is amazing, it's a dupe for Nars sheer glow and great for dry skin!

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 01/02/2019 08:36

Thanks everyone, plenty of options there! I'm currently using the Bourjois Healthy Mix and it's ok but doesn't stay on my skin for very long.

No7 beautifully matte is great. Its oil free and lasts all day. Not expensive either. No7 stay perfect compact is equally as good.

princessTiasmum · 01/02/2019 09:19

Boots no 7 here too, i like the Radiance one, but night not be as covering as you want, its not a matte finish but its gives a dewy finish

Njordsgrrrl · 01/02/2019 09:33

No.7 Beautifully Matte. I have stocked up and currently own six.

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 01/02/2019 09:34

Right I've been and got the L'Oréal Infallible total coverage. Wish me luck!

I was just about to recommend CYO lifeproof! Amazing on my dry patches

helpmepleasee · 01/02/2019 16:26

@WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream let me know what you think of it! I honestly adore it. My favourite find!!

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 02/02/2019 09:35

Well I've put the L'Oréal Infallible on this morning and I've washed it straight off it looked horrible on me. It did nothing for my dry skin and looked very flaky and it sank into my fine lines. £10 down the drain and back to the drawing board 😭

Max factor miracle Touch is good. Can be built up for coverage
I like the no7 super light foundation too butbits v v runny and more like a tinted moisturiser
I have v dry skin and it doesn’t make it drier

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 02/02/2019 09:43

Op try the rimmel one

InternetRandomer · 02/02/2019 09:45

I use Boots Natural Collection long lasting foundation and I love it. It’s £2.49 Grin

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 02/02/2019 09:47

@SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc which rimmel one?

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 02/02/2019 10:03

@WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream try the CYO lifeproof. I have about 20 foundations here, from Chanel to MAC to L'Oréal and the CYO is like my holy grail
I saw a YouTube vid recommending it and she has dry skin from accutane

SpamChaudFroid · 02/02/2019 10:06

I've been using the No7 colour drops and quite like it, you mix it in with primer or moisturiser. The more drops you add, more coverage. Don't trust the little colour matcher zpper thing tho - it got my shade completely wrong.

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 02/02/2019 10:07

25 hour

LadyVox · 02/02/2019 10:10

Can you get to Superdrug? I really rate this one

www.superdrug.com/Make-Up/Face/Foundation/Liquid-Foundation/Revolution-Conceal-%26-Define-Foundation-F2/p/768750

They also do a fantastic stick foundation

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 02/02/2019 10:23

Thanks everyone, more to try there. I'm at my wits end!

Max Factor facefinity all day flawless 3 in 1 is a good balance between long lasting & suitable for dry skin.

I also like L'oreal True Match, although this doesn't really last as long as you want it to, it's a bit dewier but my dry skin loves it. I think you may find that one a bit too similar to the Bourjois.

Sometimes I mix the two on the back of my hand.

I can't wear any of the No7 ones as I'm super pale but warm-neutral undertones. Calico (the only really fair shade they do) is incredibly ashy and grey on me.

Peridot1 · 02/02/2019 10:33

What moisturiser are you using? Sounds like your skin is very dry?
