Is it formal enough? The pattern is quite “look at me!” and the style is quite casual. I’m not a fan for a summer wedding.

MaudebeGonne · 01/02/2019 05:45

I like it, and think it would look lovely as a midi. Maybe tan coloured shoes. I like the casual styling - effortlessly chic. Pattern is fab.

budgetneeded · 01/02/2019 05:46

a bit too loud...think of the group photo :(

Sexnotgender · 01/02/2019 06:01

I like it, prefer it in the blue though but that’s personal choice.

I’ve certainly seen worse wedding outfits!

Luckingfovely · 01/02/2019 06:11

I think it would be great. Wasn't expecting to like it, but I do.

Don't listen to the comments about being too loud or the photos - everyone going to a wedding is dressing up and trying to look their best.

I do think you will have to look very 'groomed' though and will need perfect accessories in order to balance the slightly casual fit.

planespotting · 01/02/2019 06:52

Love it!

Disfordarkchocolate · 01/02/2019 06:57

I think it's really lovely but I think the one showing as 'reduced to clear' further down the page is perfect.

I like it. Not sure about changing the length though, looks like it would be too 'heavy' for a midi length

Sexnotgender · 01/02/2019 07:01

Or this from same brand, it’s more of a midi length.

Great if you have dark colouring op. For somewone like me whos skin tone looks like an uncooked richmond saussage then no.

SpeckledyHen · 01/02/2019 19:11

Thank you for all your replies albeit mixed ! The dress colours are perfect for me which is what attracted me to it . I think I need to see it as I do know the brand . The other 2 that you kindly suggested are not good colours for me unfortunately.

I hate wish washy lacey flowery dresses that always feature in bridal catergories .

I think it's fine.

Variousartists · 01/02/2019 21:16

Fab!

HundredMilesAnHour · 01/02/2019 21:21

I really like it. If you add a small, chic hat as an accessory, it will look perfect for a wedding.

Ignore the comments about it being loud. Some people think pastel lace is mandatory for weddings. Wink

coppercolouredtop · 01/02/2019 21:25

i like it as a maxi tbh - i think it looks more weddingy (occasion wear) longer! with nice heels and bag and hat - i like it.

Shockers · 01/02/2019 21:38

I really like it.

Dowser · 01/02/2019 22:58

I like the blue as well...I find browns so 80 s or was it 70s

Elledorado · 02/02/2019 06:51

I love it! I'm now considering the blue version!!

icklekid · 02/02/2019 06:55

I think it's lovely I'd leave the length to be honest but depends how tall you are I guess!

lalaloopyhead · 02/02/2019 07:00

Its a lovely dress! Very stylish. It is quite stand out, pattern wise, but I don't think that needs to be an issue. Wear with plain accessories and I think it will be perfect.

ShopoholicIn · 02/02/2019 08:28

I love the pattern n the colours.. go for it op

NeedSomeTimeInTheSunshiiine · 02/02/2019 11:02

Ooh, I like it! I'd leave it as a maxi though, and put some good heels on.

verite · 02/02/2019 12:07

I think it’s stunning.

SpeckledyHen · 02/02/2019 12:09

Lots of positive replies :) I’m off work on Monday so hope to find it in a shop to try on or at least see the quality of the brand.
I’m not a huge fan of on-line shopping as I can’t be bothered with all the return malarkey .
Thank you all .
