It's my friends 30th and we are going to york which is about a hour away for the day end of feb.
We are going around lunch time till 9pm
Has anyone been?
What do you wear?
I'm thinking a white cami with skinny jeans, ankle boots and a jacket (a dressy one as it's going to be freezing )
Is that too under dressed tho?
Can anyone advise

@BuzzLightyearsHoneyBun ah we are getting the last train home.
I'm assuming it's going to be slightly rowdy then ha ha

It's heaving with students (I used to be one of them) wear whatever you want. After a few drinks you'll soon warm up,

York isn’t rough, it is a lovely afternoon. There are so many nice restaurants and bars, from big rowdy places to smaller, quieter affairs. We always have a fantastic time when we go- the bars we visit depending on the type of afternoon we are having and how many of us are in the group.
Revolution is pretty hectic inside, good for party groups though and the cocktails are delicious.
Yes, the last train to Boro has police on and alcohol is banned on there. Makes me ashamed of my home town tbh.

There's about 10 of us going and the plan is to start in the slug and lettuce then everyone's raving about a bar called "the evil eye" sounds interesting.

Oh The Evil Eye! TBH I would go there first as the queues get huge and then it takes ages and ages to get served. The cocktail menu is massive though! I would avoid the toilets there- they are grim.

I enjoy The Stone Roses Bar as an evening venue, nice sing along to indie classics!

House of Trembling Madness worth. Visit too. We always go to Turrle Bay for the 241 cocktails as well!

BuzzLightyearsHoneyBun · 30/01/2019 21:00

Turtle bay - sorry
