Blusher for super pale ladies

Hi can anyone recommend me a great blusher for super super porcelain pale ladies? Fed up of being told how pale/ ill I look (even when wearing bronzer!) and would like something that adds colour and life without making me look like a 14 year old playing with Mummy's makeup.

Just to add to the fun, sensitive skin so nothing overly perfumed etc!

I like Benefit galifornia, but it is quite perfumed so might not be right for you . Sleek rose gold is also nice, it's got a good highlight to it, which adds a bit of life when I'm looking ghostly

Dandelion by benefit. Perfect delicate colour

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/01/2019 18:32

Dandelion - been using it for years!

speckledpigeon · 30/01/2019 18:33

Yep - dandelion by benefit here too!

WordsAndWorlds · 30/01/2019 18:37

Wow lots of Dandelion fans! I'd seen it but it looks quite a pale colour, does it really make a significant difference? I've had issues with some of the Benefit products eg Gold Rush bringing my face out in lumps but haven't tried Dandelion...

Dandelion lacks any oomph for me.

I like something that's pinky coral in colour. Maybelline do a nice cream one, or my fave is Glossier cloud paint in 'beam'

PinguDance · 30/01/2019 18:42

I also use dandelion! It builds well so if you want to go pink you can but otherwise it’s a nice natural ‘no I’m not horribly anaemic I’m just pale’ sort of look.

WordsAndWorlds · 30/01/2019 18:43

Ooh I like the look of that Glossier one! I do like cream make up better than powders, seems to irritate my cheeks less

Liz Earle do a great one that just makes you a bit 'healthier' looking. I can't remember the name but the counter staff are usually very helpful if you ask them.

Lily lolo do super pale mineral foundation and blushers ! I am a ghost and the colour I have is like chalk 😂

BroomstickOfLove · 30/01/2019 19:02

Dandelion for me, too.

Orangepear · 30/01/2019 19:11

@lms2017 which shade do you use? I have China doll which is too dark for me but I'm not sure if porcelain would be too light. Do you know if there is much difference?

gudrunandtheseeress · 30/01/2019 19:25

I'm pale and have strong high cheekbones. Most blushers look hideous on me. Instead I use a little pale pink eyeshadow with a slight shimmer as blusher quite high up on the cheekbones and into the under eye area and it looks very natural.

lms2017 · 30/01/2019 20:11

@orangepear I wear porcelain the china doll is too yellow/orange for me . China doll is very pale but it's not white , I use bronzer VERY VERY lightly over it.

I have another favourite of mine which is a perfect match (I'm pale naturally blonde, blue eyes and burn)
It's GOSH Mineral powder In shade IVORY I have stocked up it doesn't make me come out in spots either ! .

OP as someone else suggested I use pink eyeshadows or lipsticks and blend in x

EnidButton · 30/01/2019 20:39

I'm very very pale and cool toned. Used to use dandelion like you would a bronzer but it doesn't do much tbh. Now use a bit of Bobbi Brown pot rouge cream blush in pale pink, bare minerals invisible bronzer in fair to light and Bobbi brown powder blusher in pale pink.
The BB blushers are both very bright pink in the pots but blend to a subtle natural colour when on. The bronzer is an excellent one for cool toned very pale skin as it has no orange colour in it and it's really subtle.

EnidButton · 30/01/2019 20:43

Will say in Dandelion's favour, I was once going to be kept in hospital because the head nurse thought I "looked very pale still" when it was just my natural colour. So I went to the loo and put a bit of dandelion on and they let me go home as I looked like I'd perked up. Grin

FloofyDoof · 30/01/2019 20:44

I love Lily Lolo too, I wear porcelain foundation, and the pressed blush in tickled pink.

problem1234567 · 30/01/2019 20:46

I'm NC 10 so as pale as they come.
I own about 25 different blushers - it's my thing - and though I own Dandelion I don''t think it's worth they hype..
I avoid anything reddish as it's too much of a contrast on my pallor.
Pinks and corals or peaches the way to go.

Recommend:
Bourjois - Rose D'or - warm pink with gold tones - had many compliments on this one
Nars - Bumpy Ride - coral
Mac - Peaches
Ciate - Summer Love - peachy orange with gold
MAC - Well Dressed - baby pink - truer pink than Dandelion

Scandaloso · 30/01/2019 20:49

Nars - Deep Throat. Terrible name, great peachy pink shade.

Pinkywoo · 30/01/2019 20:53

I also use the lily lolo porcelain foundation and like the boots natural collection blusher in pink cloud.

Flowershower · 30/01/2019 20:57

Dandelion or Bourjois rose d’or. Both are lovely.

HundredMilesAnHour · 30/01/2019 21:03

Nars' Orgasm. I use The Multiplier (see link) but you can also get a powder version if you prefer that.

I also use it around my eyes to brighten my complexion (as taught by the Sephora Paris make-up ladies).

E20mom · 30/01/2019 21:16

Oh I came on to say Benefit Dandelion too! Smile

AckYourHole · 30/01/2019 21:19

I love the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush (mood exposure suits my skin tone) not cheap but lasts ages
