Toner for sensitive acne prone skin

I feel like I'm in need of a toner, can anyone recommend a good one?

I have acne prone skin so want to avoid anything that could cause a flare up, it's also a bit on the dry side at the minute so nothing that's going to make that worse would be good.

My acne is mostly under control at the moment but feel like my skin still looks dull. Ah, the never ending quest for glowing skin!

Hope I'm not asking too much!

What do you currently use? Do you mean an acid toner?

I'm not using one at the moment. Not an acid toner, just a normal one. I have some and use them but I think my skin copes with them better in summer, they seem to be drying my skin out at the moment.

Okay but what is your skin routine and what do you want the "toner" to do? To be honest Ive only ever used acid toners (lactic acid is good for sensitive skin if you want it to be a bit brighter and clearer). Traditional toners I think are like a second cleanser?

What about a Paula's Choice liquid exfoliant? It's used like a toner but will help clear the acne. The products are good on sensitive skin.
