Which nude lipstick

I love the colour of Mac Creme D'Nude but it's a bit more of a creamy texture than I'd like.

I've tried Charlotte Tilbury Nude Kate but it's too dark for my complexion.

Can anyone suggest a lovely nude that is not too shiny or creamy?

I’ve just bought Charlotte Tilbury Very Victoria. I’ve been on a bit of a quest for the right nude and I think this may have nailed it. It’s a bit darker than a lot which suits me better as I need darker lip colour to not look washed out.

For a budget option, I recently bought Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish lipstick in shade 03, as recommended on the fopperholic facebook page.

Mac velvet teddy & really me are nice,if you get a lip liner u like use that all over your lips u can make your own nude colour i do this to get a pink nude.
Also max factor honey lacquer in the colour honey nude is so nice.

I'd love to find a nude lipstick that doesn't make me look totally washed out. But until I do, I'm sticking to gloss with a hint of colour.

Mac Velvet teddy is beautiful. It's so lovely on and goes with everything

which skin tone/colour are you please? My skin is fair but not red haired fair. I have light brown hair. I tan fairly easily but in Winter my skin looks fair. Would this suit me please?

delboy you sound a bit warmer than me. I am vanishingly pale, I always need the palest foundation with a pinky undertone and never tan, but I have dark brows and lashes and quite dark blue eyes. I’m also a bit fat so it’s a winning combination and I need to make sure my features don’t sink into my face!

I thought I wanted Pillow Talk, but the slightly darker colour suited me better. The CT staff were very helpful and knew their stuff so worth asking at the counter.

I have a Pillow Talk but it's still too dark for me . Velvet teddy sounds nice

@Holidayshopping that was my wedding lipstick! I don't tend to wear it that often anymore but is a lovely nude

Mac shrimpton is the one I got when they were out of stock of creme de nude

Charlotte tilbury Kim KW is a pale pinky nude which is lovely (I'm not a Kim K fan but this was too good a colour to stand by my morals)

Tom Ford nude vanille and blush nude are also lovely.

Hi @springmachine - if Pillow Talk is too dark then I think Velvet Teddy will probably be too dark too. I’ve attached a picture (hopefully - never done it before!) for comparison. L-R they are Charlotte Tilbury Nude Kate, Pillow Talk, MAC Velvet Teddy and the last one is MAC Myth, which might be worth checking? Or perhaps Fleshpot by MAC which looks similarly pale but more pinky from googling (I don’t own it!)
