I have long(ish), thick(ish), wavy(ish) hair. It’s basically just been long since I was a little girl. Sometimes I go wild and have a fringe. For a while I had highlights to lift the blondish colour to light blonde.

I’m mid thirties and pregnant with our first.

I want low maintenance hair - I can’t see me prioritising the time and money for haircuts particularly often (say 3-4 times a year is achievable), not spending hours styling it in the morning. But I also want to look stylish and groomed.

Am I resigned to ‘just long’ hair that I mostly pull back into a bun forever more? It’s so blah

Can you post a photo OP, block your face out, then we'll have a better idea.

Don't go too short. If you want days off from styling don't remove the option of putting it up.

That said my grooming routine didn't change at all when I had dd1. I had visions of having to go out without my make up done and blah but it didn't happen even once
