Grey boots - how to style

I’ve had these poor boots at the bottom of the wardrobe unloved for 2 years simply because I live in black.
I have lots of black dresses, skirts, skinnies and tops and occasionally splash for forest green tops,
My DH bought them as s present and I have no clue what to wear them with
Help

I think they would work well with an all black outfit

As you wear a lot of black I think they’d go with the outfits that you describe. Just replace black boots with grey boots.

They’re lovely and would work well with a black outfit. I’d then use a grey handbag.

Dark blue jeans, a cream coloured cable knit jumper, and a dusty rose suede handbag.

Yeah, just wear them with everything you own and have described. Why wouldn't you?

I just didn’t have the confidence to wear boots of any other colour than black with black 🤦🏻‍♀️
Also don’t listen to your 16 yo son when you ask him if you think it would be ok and he says it might look dumb.
