Makeup products you don’t use anymore?

What would you do with makeup items that you don’t reach for and want to offload?

I used to be truly makeup obsessed and would buy every latest eyeshadow palette or limited edition collection - ridiculous I know. What ended up happening is that I have a large collection of makeup, 90% I never use as I tend to stick with my favourites. Think mainly eyeshadow palettes and limited edition Mac items that have never been used and still in original packaging. No gross products (ie well used or unhygienic like lip gloss/mascara)

It’s a pain trying to store it all, I’m at the point where I need to condense it as I have like 10+ items for each category. I was thinking of donating or selling the decent/new bits? Or should I just bin?

Have you got any friends with teenage daughters? They may like them.

Sell the unused ones definitely. There's a big market for discontinued items on Ebay. It could be someone's favourite. I saw a half used bottle of a designer nail varnish from 2008 selling for double its original price (I know the year because I owned one and the colour was limited edition and then discontinued!!)

Some people will also buy used items like eyeshadow palettes (I mean, that's not to everyone's taste but they do!)

The rest I'd donate as Yellow says, to a teenager.

Anything really worn down I'd bin. Or keep anything I might use again that's a bit unusual and not everyday (sparkly eyeshadow)
