I would like a pair of good, inexpensive black jeans - where to go!

Slim, skinny, possibly even straight or jeggings, but proper black. I am slowly building my wardrobe back up after two children then zero spare cash. My clothes are oldand ill-fitting apart from a couple of quality basic pieces that I have recently got.

Ideally I don't want to spend more than £30 but if anyone has any tips for really good ones I will gladly have them.fpr when I can afford something more. I just have no idea where to go on the high street for clothes anymore. Thank you!

The best black skinnies I've got were the Alexa ones from Peacocks. Wash (and tumble) really well and keep their colour. I went back and bought a couple more pairs as I'm living in them at the moment!

I don't think you can beat Primark tbh. Matalan a close second!

I like Tesco jeans, they keep their colour and are really comfy

H&M premium ‘shaping’ jeans are very good. The skinny ones are £39.99. Nice deep black & cut well.

Tesco contour ones are brilliant and only cost £15

I bought Jenna black jeans from new look, and wore them today for the first time. They were £16 I think, and I’m impressed so far. Good shape and didn’t go baggy anywhere. I can’t say how they’ll wash though but I’d also recommend dylon!

Asda or Matalan!

NOT Primark. I have to wear black jeans for work and I usually just buy Primark in a hurry, but they always fade and go all weird and puckered after no time at all. H&M and M&S are much better.
