Do you wash it again with face wash in the morning?

dove sensitive at night and morning. don`t put anything else on my face at night. in the morning i use olay regenerist after washing my face.

Double cleanse at night to get rid of the pollution grime - as a cyclist I'm always in the face of exhaust fumes. Then quick wash with water only on a flannel in the morning so the spf and moisturiser goes onto clean face.

Willowtreecottage · 24/01/2019 14:40

Double cleanse at night.
Then use moistened cotton wool pad ( with just water from the tap)in the morning!
Serum
Moisturiser
Sun block!

Double cleanse at night using Kalme cleanser then wash it off. Cleanse with a quick squirt of Cetaphil or Cerave hydrating cleanser - whichever my kids haven’t nicked.

RiverTam · 24/01/2019 16:23

I wash my face with a flannel and water at night (and moisturize) and then just with water in the morning (and moisturize).

BoswellsBollocks · 24/01/2019 16:28

I don’t wash my face ever.

I remove yesterday’s make up the morning after with wipes, and use a bit of cheap moisturiser before putting make up on.

I get complimented on my skin so I’m loathe to ever change my routine!

TantricTwist · 24/01/2019 18:04

Boswell Hmm

HeronLanyon · 24/01/2019 18:12

I also don’t wash my face with anything. Face cloth and hot water. Always told I look years younger than I am. Never wear makeup though so I don’t have stuff to wipe off other than days dirt which hot water and moisturiser seems to deal with that. Soap or other product would make my skin crawl I think.

CoperCabana · 24/01/2019 18:17

I also have fantastic skin. Never remove make up or wash face at night. Cheap face wash in shower. Cheap moisturiser before make up in the morning.

megletthesecond · 24/01/2019 18:19

Evening shower and morning face wash here. Use Lush Coalface soap.

TheDowagerCuntess · 24/01/2019 19:17

For those who don't remove make-up at night, do you wash your pillow cases every day instead?

Sausagefingers9 · 24/01/2019 20:07

This is good to read, thanks for your responses. I’ve been washing my face with facial wash in the morning but think I will swap to warm water and a face cloth.

Maybe good skin is genetics? I wear light make up and use products on my face but still have good skin.

I don’t wash my pillowcase every day no. Disgusting eh? Works for me though. Nearly 50 and wrinkle free.

Thishatisnotmine · 25/01/2019 09:57

Hot cloth cleanser at night and little bit of a swish with Clinique soap in the morning. If its been a no make up day (or I am tired) then just a wipe with hot water and a flannel. I don't have loads of make up to remove at night but the quick wash in the morning feels nice and fresh.

Hunter007 · 29/01/2019 01:54

Full cleanse at night, don't usually bother in the morning other than splash of water in shower

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 29/01/2019 02:03

I’m with the grim folks, I don’t wash my face before bed unless I’m talking a bath. Most of the time I just wash it in the morning whilst showering with face wash. Then cleanse and tone and use moisturiser before reapplying makeup. Unless I’m in a massive rush then I just remove mascara stains from under my eyes and top existing makeup up before rushing out the door 😂

BradleyPooper · 29/01/2019 02:19

Double cleanse at night, then splash with water in the shower in the morning to remove any residue from night products.

DorothyBastard · 29/01/2019 02:20

Double cleanse in the evening (usually a balm cleanser to remove all makeup/SPF, then a milk cleanser on my bare skin. Single cleanse in the morning.

NorthernSpirit · 29/01/2019 02:52

Facial wipe to remove makeup, followed by facial wash and moisturiser at night.

In the morning, facial wash (in the shower) followed by moisturiser.

IMO it’s pretty gross to go to bed having not washed your face.

Justagirlwholovesaboy · 29/01/2019 02:56

I’ll live with being pretty gross, never had spots acne or other issues. Somehow I’ve survived to middle age without it and also don’t have wrinkles 😂

EngagedAgain · 29/01/2019 03:19

I don't wear any make up at all and only wash my face when I think about it 🤔 or when wash hair, basically because I'm lazy in both depts! Only use moisturiser after said wash. Worked well for years (had, still have very good skin really) but there is a change, which is due to aging process. Most of the time looks ok but sometimes looks dry, and tired looking. Also can't wear foundation because it shows up the dryness, I don't need it, but miss those days of make up wearing. Does nothing much for me anyway. I know I need to put more effort in and it's on my to do list! Sounds bad the infrequency of my washing but I don't lead a sort of life where I feel the need eg, in a dirty or dusty or mixing with alot of people environment. It's worked for me til now but need to get a proper daily cleansing routine going. Def can't use any general types of soap on my face, even 'gentle' too drying and flares up, but I'd be interested if anyone knows of a special type meant for face? Or any other ideas, thanks.

EngagedAgain · 29/01/2019 03:28

Rtft, and see there are others like me! Feel better now! Probably still a flannel with just warm water, but a nightly routine would help. I mean how long does it take!
