Hello, I saw a lady today who was wearing a pair of DM boots that were exactly the kind of boots I've been looking for. She was a bit too far away for me to ask her the name of the style (and I thought she might think I was a bit weird if I ran down the street after her!) so I wondered if any of you might know what they were if I try my best to describe them - they were ankle length, black and looked like they were made of very soft leather. The had a rounded toe and flat sole and looked like they might fasten with a zip at one side. They didn't look typical DM shape and I only know they were as they had the black and yellow tab sticking out of the top of each foot. Any ideas? Thank you!

Just to add, I have had a look on the website but can't see anything that looks like them so wondering if they might be an older style! Thanks for any ideas 😀

Did they have laces? I'd be tempted to look on ebay for DMs in your size and see if any turn up.

Hereslookingatyoukid · 23/01/2019 17:57

Forgot to mention that sorry, no they didn't have any laces. Just quite a smooth shape so I'm guessing they either pulled on or had a zip but I couldn't see clearly! Will try eBay, thanks!

Were they def DMs? Sound more like Fly London?

MikeUniformMike · 23/01/2019 18:06

Were they chelsea boots? They might be the Flora ones.

Sounds a bit like the DM Gayle biker boot but they don't currently sell them. They're part of the more streamlined collection but I can't remember what it's called.

Haggisfish · 23/01/2019 21:00

They might be from the youth range-they have zips and are really soft leather. Go up to size six.

Hereslookingatyoukid · 23/01/2019 22:19

So sorry to have disappeared. Had to go out unexpectedly. Thank you to everyone who has replied. I'm pretty sure they were DMs but will check that other brand. Thanks for all of the links but they're not there. The search continues! I wonder if they might be in the youth range, would be just my luck, I've got size 8 feet so that would rule those out!

I’ve literally just ordered these in red in the sale. They look very soft and comfortable.

Londonbum · 23/01/2019 22:26

These?

(these are my new boots and I’m harbouring a secret hope that it was me you saw, because I bought them after a similar incident!)

Hereslookingatyoukid · 24/01/2019 00:03

@Londonbum it wasn't those but they are pretty close (and lovely so might get these instead!) Thank you!!

@BentNeckLady thank you, they were a bit more slouchy than those and without the laces but thank you! I do like the lace up ones too but (whispers) I'm still a bit rubbish at tying laces so tend to go for more pull on or zip boots to avoid holding everyone up while I get my shoes on!!
