Help! Shortish bob holiday laziness

I have a short bob ( chin line) same length, and side fringe. I always swim a lot on holiday so have to wash and dry it every day. I’m not the best at blow drying so it takes ages. Has anyone any ideas as to how I can wear it that doesn’t require blow drying for 30 minutes + each day?
It’s too short for a pony tail and I’m 59 so slides etc don’t look right.
TIA

Let it dry naturally and straighten it afterwards.

Does it naturally have any wave to it? You could get some texturising sea salt spray (black bottle by Tigi is good) and do beachy style bob?

Just dry and style the crown and the fringe and tuck it behind your ears. I then tend to pop sunglasses on my head (like a hairband) on holiday - yes, even if it is dark. You certainly wouldn't be the only one.

From the length you describe it really shouldn't take half an hour though? Mine sounds similar to yours and, even if I do a fairly thorough dry, it only takes 15 minutes max.

Get a blow dry brush thing?

MikeUniformMike · 23/01/2019 17:27

wear a hat.

baggies · 23/01/2019 18:15

Thanks for the suggestions. Do wear a hat a lot!
Trouble is I’m so fussy, sectioning hair etc seems to take forever. Never straightened my hair, makes it look greasy imo. Just a moaner eh!
My hairdresser always says just blast it with a hairdrier and it’ll fall into place. Oh yeah!

Pin the top back into a sort of quiff with two Kirby grips crossed over. If its dry just back comb it so there's some height and maybe a bit of texture spray/salt spray though the rest?

MikeUniformMike · 23/01/2019 18:43

Why not just blast it with a hairdryer and see what happens.

I have similar length hair - I do salt spray, scrunch and tie in a headband.

Update: on holiday now and have taken your suggestions on board! Style my hair wet ( well combed it!)
And either tied it in a tiny weeny ponytail or used a pretty hair band.

Thanks everyone!

I have the same problem, bobs and heat/swimming/suncream just don’t mix.

I tend to stick a hat on or a hairband for the day and then wash after the days swimming is done. It’s then nicely styled for the evening and passable still the following morning.

baggies · 21/08/2019 18:46

Exactly. Let's face it we're usually anonymous on holiday so no ones going to either recognise/remember me!
