Dress is bottle green lace (thanks so much for the Wallis tip!)
I have black heels (patent, boring courts), the ones below or nude heels or bronze wedge sandals. High wedges

Whichever are smartest... the ones pictured are too scruffy for that dress, I think.

Whatusernamecanihave · 22/01/2019 20:25

I’m love the dress 😬 sadly not loving the shoe options sorry have you got any strappy black heels? Useless attaching photos but one strap across the toes one around your ankle thin heel type? With a black clutch? X

mondaysaturday · 22/01/2019 20:25

Have you got pics of your other shoe options?

Whatusernamecanihave · 22/01/2019 20:26

*loving

High black sandals but wedge again. I’ll have to dig them out. Maybe the bronze/ gold are best - they’re high too. Will try get pic

Wedge sandals would not look right with that dress. I went to a 1920s themed night a few weeks ago, and lots of the younger women were wearing summery wedge sandals with sequin dresses, and it just looked so wrong.

Polkapjs · 22/01/2019 20:41

It’s lace rather than sequin but still wrong?

Stewpot is autocorrect for strappy by the way Grin

The dress is fine but both pairs of shoes are pretty awful OP (sorry!). You need something simple but modern so you look elegant. Can we see photos of your black heels?

mondaysaturday · 22/01/2019 21:31

I think classic black stilettos are your best bet here, if you have them?

pickingdaisies · 22/01/2019 21:42

I think with the lacy dress you'd be better off with plainer shoes, either the nude heels or the black.

shecamefromgreece · 22/01/2019 21:44

Black pointy suede courts with a slim heel.

Polkapjs · 22/01/2019 21:50

Ok black heels it is and I’ll finally lose the others - I needed a push to get rid I think

And thanks all. Appreciate an honest view
