How can I take a better photo?

I hate having my photo taken, and avoid it at all costs normally, but I have to supply a photograph to a work thing, that could be used many times, so I want to be at least a little happy with how I present myself.

I always look like I'm expecting to be hit in photos. Honestly, I look scared (I guess I am, but it's not a professional look, is it?) My eyebrows immediately go into the "beaten puppy" position when anyone points a camera at me.

How do I get my face to behave? I try to relax and not clench my teeth, but those eyebrows have a mind of their own....botox not an option, and I already have a fringe. I was thinking a scarf across my face but OH pointed out that this may not be what the team are looking for...

I imagine I've had botox and try and straighten (as opposed to raise) my eyebrows. Seems to work.

I'm going to have to practice, clearly. I end up looking like a pink Shrek most of the time.

I think of something nice, like something funny and sweet the girls have done. It always seems to put a bit of life in my expression for some reason.

oh that's a great idea, VioletWillow. I'm always thinking about the photo and how horrible it'll look.
