In my humble opinion, no, looks too wintery.

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 20/01/2019 09:17

My gut reaction is that it's not dressy enough. Granted you could dress it up with here's and jewellery but still, I wouldn't even consider wearing leopard print to a wedding, and I'm not Uber conservative.

DrinkSangriaInThePark · 20/01/2019 09:17

*heels and jewellery

JustHavinABreak · 20/01/2019 09:18

Wouldn't be my first choice to be honest but it depends entirely on how you style it really. How formal is the wedding?

TheSassyAssassin · 20/01/2019 09:18

Agree, not sure it's summery enough...I personally wouldn't wear it to a wedding.

AppleKatie · 20/01/2019 09:20

No it doesn’t look like a wedding guest outfit at all. Nice enough dress for another occasion though.

I tend to think if you have to ask don’t do it.

Bluntness100 · 20/01/2019 09:20

I think it can be made to look summery, with nude High sandals and bare legs and it's a light material, but I wouldn't wear it to a wedding to be honest, it's the all over leopard print that does it for me.

Racecardriver · 20/01/2019 09:22

Not very summer. Not very weddingy either.

PouchofDouglas · 20/01/2019 09:23

wear what you like
Agree with bare legs and sandals

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 20/01/2019 09:25

what is she thinking with those red boots?

It's not a wedding frock at all OP, lunch or evening out with chums is where that dress belongs

SuperstarDJ · 20/01/2019 09:25

It’s a nice dress but I wouldn’t wear it to a wedding regardless of the season.

Nice with heels for a night out or boots or trainers for casual but not for a wedding.

abcriskringle · 20/01/2019 09:28

I guess it must depend on the wedding as I've been to plenty where that dress would have been perfectly acceptable! As pp have said, bare legs, nude heels, nice jewellery...I think it's fine.

WhoKnewBeefStew · 20/01/2019 09:31

With sandals and jewellery I think it would be fine, but it’s got long sleeves so might look a bit odd at a summer wedding. Especially if we get similar hot weather to last year

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 20/01/2019 09:34

Not summery and not weddingy. Sorry!

sue51 · 20/01/2019 09:35

If its a casual registry office wedding followed by a meal in a local restaurant, it would be fine teamed with a good bag and heels. For something more formal, no. Sorry.

ivykaty44 · 20/01/2019 09:37

The dress is very lovely but not the sort of dress for a spring or summer wedding. If you’re purchasing something then wait until the spring collection come out shortly

ChangoMutney · 20/01/2019 09:38

Hmm 100% polyester in the summer- yuk.

OhTheRoses · 20/01/2019 09:38

I prefer the other colourway. I think it's a fab dress to have in your wardrobe and for a summer wedding when the weather is unseasonably chilly, with a beaded pashmina or something, yes I'd wear it. Needs closed in shoes though.

TwitterQueen1 · 20/01/2019 09:39

Nope. Sorry but as most others have said, it's not summery or weddingy.

Going on a similar style of shirt dress

PouchofDouglas · 20/01/2019 09:55

i hate trad cliche english wedding dress

Women dress like they would for no other event and lose all sense of style

So this is perfect - might be hot though

ThanksItHasPockets · 20/01/2019 10:03

No. Plus it’s 100% polyester. You’ll be terribly sweaty and uncomfortable in warm weather.

leccybill · 20/01/2019 10:11

I wore a similar dress to meet my friend for coffee yesterday.

SpeckledyHen · 20/01/2019 15:09

I knew the answer but good to get it confirmed ! Thanks everyone .

No, it’s too dark and wouldn’t be suited to the season or the occasion.
