Hello

Can anyone recommend me a kohl liner for the waterline that will not make me look like a panda? So far I've tried Rimmel exaggerate waterproof, no7 amazing eyes liner and eyeko sport (I was promised big things, but all I have are big black rings around my eyes!)

I've looked online and eyeko seemed to be recommended and it was a massive fail. So I'm asking mn instead

There is a Revolution one that makes quite a good job of staying in the waterline, I'll have a look for mine and post the name of it tomorrow...

Off the top of my head I think it was Revolution HD Smoky Eyeliner (waterproof).

Definitely not the Sleek Lifeproof one 🙄 same issue! I’m looking for the same, for tightlining - how hard can it be?!

Shylo · 20/01/2019 08:50

Watching with interest - I asked similar last summer and was recommended Charlotte tilbury which was god awful in Mynchens experience

CherryPavlova · 20/01/2019 08:55

Bobby brown has the best one I’ve seen.

lolbrador · 20/01/2019 09:12

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! @CherryPavlova which bobby brown one?

Thank You. I bought rimmel waterproof 24 hour one and found it good. Chucking all my others out. Panda bear. 🐼

ThanksItHasPockets · 20/01/2019 10:04

Yes to Bobbi Brown. It’s the only thing that stays on for tightlining.

Charlotte Tilbury Bedroom Black eye kohl

Or

YSL waterproof eye pencil

This is amazing. You need a slightly damp eyeliner brush

Rimmel waterproof scandaleyes 24 hour - amazing for me and super cheap £4ish in Superdrug - lasts me all day at work on my waterline :-)

DaftSkunk · 20/01/2019 13:19

Pixi endless silky eye is good, I use for tightlining.

justilou1 · 20/01/2019 14:11

I am wearing Flower Beauty Longwear Eyeliner for the first time today. I put it on at lunchtime and it's just after midnight. It's still going strong! (And it's cheap!!!) - Also easy to apply, btw. (Lovely dark, khaki colour.)

FIFIBEBE · 20/01/2019 14:14

Chanel Waterproof eyeliner is superb and comes in beautiful colours. There's usually a limited edition one each season too

lolbrador · 21/01/2019 20:03

Lots to try! Thanks everyone

nots that is the one I use £4 - cant go wrong.

Laquila · 24/01/2019 08:39

Well, I picked the Rinmel one up en route home last night and having applied it an hour ago (tightlining) it’s already migrated to my lower lash line 😂 maybe it’s more obvious for me though, as I don’t apply it on my lower lash line. Any other suggestions?!...

Peepingsnowdrops · 25/01/2019 18:47

Thats a pity. Maybe try one of the more expensive ones

lolbrador · 25/01/2019 21:25

Thank you to whoever recommended Chanel! Applied at 7.30am and still intact now!! Hooray!!!! Grin

India Knight recommended the L'Oreal gel eyeliner for waterline staying power last weekend in the Sunday Times. It's only £4.99.

pearlkent · 26/01/2019 15:26

Could someone explain what tightlining is exactly? Is it like in the 1970/80s when we (as teenagers) used kohl on the 'inside' rim of the eyes? It made your eyes look defined but really small, and always gathered in the inside of your eye.
Has it evolved now? Is it meant to just be on the inside of your top lash line, and if so, how could it NOT migrate to the inside lower rim when you're constantly blinking?
I like the idea of it if it stays on the top inside rim, as I'm having trouble these days using traditional eyeliner above my top lashes (ageing eyelids).
Thank you oh wise make-up people.

Ollivander84 · 26/01/2019 16:58

@pearlkent yes - upper lash line and upper waterline. It makes the roots of the lashes more defined and for me looks more "done"
