Winter wedding help

Please help me with some ideas for a winter wedding, two venues and using public transport to get there (So need to be warm enough). I've ordered and sent loads of stuff back already! Wrap or skater type / fit and flare dresses are good for me. I'm size 16.

What was wrong with the things you sent back?

I love velvet for winter, it's luxurious and lovely. Warehouse has some cheap velvet wrap dresses.

Watching with interest as I'm attending a wedding in March. Could be winter or spring!

I think just nothing was right - felt too Christmassy or just didn't fit well. I did order a velvet jumpsuit but it was far too short in the body. Good idea to look for velvet dresses.
