Does anyone have russian volume eyelash extensions done regularly just for normal life (not special occasions)?

I kinda like the idea of getting russian lash extensions done regularly, rather than be applying mascara and then having to wipe the eyes quite a lot in the evenings with makeup remover to get it all off and I can't apply fake eyelashes properly despite trying to lol

BUT they are very expensive (~£50 each time, which lasts for 4 weeks).. so would feel a diva getting them done all the time..

Does anyone? Maybe give me a bit of info about your job / if you're super rich etc too so there's some perspective haha

I have mine done all the time, I’m defo not mega rich but not short either. I get mine infilled every 3 and a half weeks and it’s £30. I wear less make up with them done so try to justify the cost to myself that way Wink

I have done but got fed up of never being able to rub my eyes properly and having to be careful taking make up off. Good mascara and occasional LVL lash lift works better for me.

StickItUpYaJumpa · 17/01/2019 21:16

I have them but like @hammylehamster it can get frustrating not being able to rub your eyes and I never felt like I could wash my eyes properly.

They won't last 4 weeks. You might get 3 from them.

I do like them and miss them now I don't have them.

I used to get them done regularly but 1) the application took about an hour and a half , every three weeks, which was a lot of time 2) They looked great the first week then started coming out and I had to be super careful all the time, not rubbing eyes etc. Just too high maintenance for me

No good if you sleep on your face.

I used to get them done but don’t anymore and am glad - they’re too high maintenance and you won’t get 4 weeks out of them. They will start to look a bit crap after 2-3 weeks and going to get infills every 3 weeks turns into a pain in the arse. Plus in hindsight they looked a bit ridiculous for everyday use.

Used to have them done constantly, like others say you'd get 1 really good week out of them. Then you'd accidentally face plant into the pillow and bend them. Agree with serum and a good mascara. MAC will teach you how to apply strip lashes, or just apply them for you (without doing your make up) when you buy them in the store. If you want a more dramatic look for the weekends x

i had them done once - £40 badly spent, didnt last a week, thank god! i looked like daisy the cow, felt totally daft and un-natural and then had to put up with patchy bits as they fell out, also, they flicked on to my lenses and were really bloody irritating while trying to read. never again!

HarrietBasset · 18/01/2019 20:02

Not Russians but I have classic extensions. Full set then infills every three weeks. With regular combing they last pretty well though go a bit patchy towards the end.
I love them as I am lazy. They aren't massive dramatic ones but just look like I have very good eye make up on all the time. I don't spend a lot on make up or treatments generally so justify it on that.
I pay £40 then £25 for infills.

Datedandold · 18/01/2019 20:04

Have a look at LVL- lash lift. Lasts me about 8 weeks and I have the tint topped up at 4, so a total of £45 for the 8 weeks.

longhaulstress · 18/01/2019 23:16

I have Russians and pay £28 for 45 min infills every 3 weeks. I love them, I have really hooded eyes which just hide my lashes plus I end up with makeup all over my face. They have made such a difference I look a lot more awake and make up still looks good after a 12 hour shift.
