Bloody acne.

I've never had an issue with skin. It's always been the only thing I had going for me- I might be fat but 'ooh you've got lovely soft skin' juts turned 40, and the last year have developed sodding back acne. I don't know what to do about it. I'm so self conscious and wearing a t shirt to the pool because it looks bloody horrendous. Each one is the big red and nasty looking variety- which then goes big and scabby. Best washes/creams please you can advise?

I get a few spots on my back. I exercise a lot and get them where my sports bra is (think it’s the sweat causing them - gross!) I find glycolic acid works really well - The Ordinary one is cheap and there are also pre soaked pads of different prices available in Superdrug, Boots etc. The products are for use on your face but it can be a bit harsh - the skin on my back can take it though.

GP.

It's miserable isn't it. In every way. But if it's as bad as you describe, it does needs medical intervention. The back is too difficult to treat topically anyway. It's shit and can get you down. Flowers
