Overgrown cuticle

I know (I think) how to prevent these but how do I deal with one when I've got one? Worried cutting it will make it sore and infected. It's stuck to my nail and not budging!

How about soaking your hands then push it back a bit, then after a few hours, do it again? Would that work?

You can get cuticle cream. Or as pp said soak hands in warm water.

Soak nails push back gebtly with a hoof stick cuticle oil daily to soften the cuticles. You could kick start it by having a manicure and then maitain from there but definitely nourish the cuticles you need to keep them nourished and condtioned with gentle pushing back.
