Manchester beauty salon recommendations

I'd like to buy my friend a voucher or treatment for a beauty salon for her birthday. As it's a milestone birthday id like to get her something a bit special rather than just a local salon so can someone recommend anywhere that's maybe a bit sought after and that come highly recommended. I've had a Google but not found anywhere and I don't know Manchester at all, thank you

What kind of treatments is she in to?

Does she live centrally or are you only looking for something in town? The big hotels probably have salons, but a lot of people go where they live in the suburbs.

Thanks for the replies- I was thinking along the lines of massage or manicure etc. She lives in Gorton but she drives so could easily get to the city centre

Beauty and Bubbles in the NQ are great.
I had the best massage of my life in SEED Beauty in Stockport (not far from Gorton).
