Hello everyone Smile

I’m looking for a not too crazy expensive concealer and light coverage foundation type thing with decent SPF. I have rather rosy cheeks and get a bit red on my nose. I’m also taking an anti-depressant at the moment and I have been warned that it can make me more susceptible to sun damage.
Obviously the sun damage isn’t currently a giant issue Hmm but I’d rather have less products IYSWIM and just even out my skin tone a bit at the moment. I’m certainly not looking my brightest - and haven’t felt it for a while - but I’m feeling better and I’d really like to see that when I look in the mirror.

Oh, and I’m sure I have understood the difference between BCC and CC creams either.... I hear a lot about it cosmetics CC cream and they look interesting but I also saw (I do enjoy a bit of YouTube)one review saying the coverage is fairly heavy. I’d rather a light coverage.

Thank you so much in advance for any help Flowers

Don't rely on the SPF in foundation etc, you will never be applying enough to get the advertised benefit. Use a separate sunscreen, then put your cosmetics on top.

The body shop do a really good one called Skin Defence multi-protection essence that has SPF 50. It's clear an not greasy and makes a nice make up base too.

Foundation wise, I like Mac face and body for light coverage. For concealer I like the Nars soft matte, works well all over the face and stays put which makes it great for covering nose redness. If you have dry skin, it isn't drying at all by the way.

Thats Great thank you!
I realise a description of my skin would have probably been useful to have!
So... I’m very fair and have fairly normal skin. An oily T-zone which isn’t too bad half the month and is pretty greasy the other half of the month.
I would say my skin is dehydrated by the cold weather at the moment but it isn’t dry; if that makes any sense.

But it’s so useful to have some “normal” experience. There are so many products out there it is just overwhelming!

I use the IT CC cream, it isn't heavy on me at all. Light coverage and my skin sounds like yours. I do use a separate SPF though, I use Frezyderm under the CC cream, no problems.

I have used the frezyderm SPF. It is great but it makes me very greasy. Is there any SPF that isn’t greasy? I’d guess not... or perhaps it’s worth trying the 30SPF from frezyderm Hmm

I will have to get to the shops next week and see if I can find some samples...

Thank you!!
