What size are these jeans please (D&G)

One of my daughters is off travelling so I’m clearing out some of her things and selling what’s worth worth selling. Anyway I’m trying to list these Dolce & Gabbana jeans but have no idea from the label what to put as the size. Can anyone help me please. Thanks.

An Italian 40. Usually that's a UK 8 but I'd say 6-8 assuming the 26 means 26 inch waist

Thanks. I did wonder if the 26 meant waist measurements. However when I measure then I get almost 15 inch. I’ll put photo on listing and give my opinion. Thanks again x

26 inches would be the circumference of the waist.
