Best shampoo for a greasy haired pre teen

DD has just turned 11 and puberty is well under way. She’s gone from needing a hair wash once or twice a week to looking like she’s been rinsing her hair in chip fat if she doesn’t wash it daily almost overnight. Unfortunately she doesn’t really have time to wash and dry her hair every night, and I’m wondering if a change of shampoo might let her get away with every other night at least.

At the moment she’s using Boots own brand cheap green apple shampoo and conditioner, which she’s been using since she grew out of Johnson’s no more tears. The sheer number and types of shampoo is just overwhelming, and I’d rather not spend money on something which won’t be any better than what she’s using now, so I’m looking for recommendations.

If it helps she has thick, blonde, slightly course straight shoulder length hair which knots and tangles easily.

Pantene Miscellar shampoo and conditioner is good but make sure she knows only to use conditioner on the ends.

My 11 year old uses Vosene and L'Oreal dream lengths conditioner on the ends only. Vosene is really good on the greasy roots.

Does she wash-rinse-repeat? 12yo DD had similar problems but we found that doing the double shampoo trick worked along with more regular washing. She has thick, wavy slightly longer than shoulder length hair and just leaves it to dry naturally after showering at 8pm-ish.
