Help me accessorise....

I've got 2 weddings to go to - one in the UK in the summer and the other in Italy in August. I've bought these dresses (I'll be stitching up the gaping chest area!!). Not sure which colour to wear for which yet but I'm stuck on what shoes etc to match them with them - the UK wedding will require some kind fascinator / hat / hair adornment, the Italian wedding is more informal. Ideally I'd like to match shoes and bag with both dresses rather than buying twice. Any ideas?

I would style as the model to be honest. Maybe some long necklaces to the Italian and maybe go for a statement earring for UK. Fascinators are totally shit. Either a hat is appropriate or not. If not then I would go for a head band or slide type accessory. A floral crown would look nice with this dress for the Italian wedding.

I actually don't think I like the dress for a UK wedding. Have you bought the dress in 2 colours?

Thank you!

I'm not a fan of fascinators either. I like the idea of a headband though.

I have bought both colours. What makes you think they wouldn't be right for a UK wedding? Not formal enough?

I'm a leggings and jumper person and don't get dressed up often so always get things wrong!!

I'd just buy one dress for both weddings TBH. Is the Italian wedding going to have Italians at it? If so I wouldn't assume it will be any more informal than a British wedding, even if the number of fascinators are lower.

I think the dress might be OK for a beach wedding but would probably be a bit informal for a lot of weddings due to the split and length. What's your overall budget for both weddings?

Definitely don’t need 2 of that dress.

Also agree with horror of fascinates, head bands AND hats - just have great hair.

I’d style with wedge heels, statement earrings, a clutch bag and a big bangle or two.

pink sequin
zebra
These seem a bit smarter but are similar in style?

Thank you all - so glad I asked, I'm rubbish at these things.

No Italians at the wedding in Italy, it's a uk couple and guests. Very laid back by the sound of things, long weekend event with a ceremony in the grounds of the accommodation which is in the Tuscan hillside.

I've actually ordered the pink ASOS sequin dress to try as well, I love it but wasn't sure if it was too sparkly

Sounds like a solid plan :) I love the dress but feel the style is much more suited to an abroad wedding. The pink sequin with good hair will be fab for UK! Enjoy!!!!

Tell us how you get on with the pink sequinned dress.
