I got lost in the rabbit hole of YouTube and all the beauty bloggers seem to rate it.
The Ordinary one is reasonable so worth a shot but what am I looking for? I understand a high SPF is essential.
My skin is olive, dry and wrinkly.
Thanks.

I recently got the 1% retinol from the ordinary and really enjoying using it. It does advise to use spf As you would do with other acids too.

I believe with retinol it’s best to start low and build up tolerance. The ordinary do a 0.5% but I couldn’t get hold of it so went with 1% which i still believe to be good for home treatments and for beginners too.

I’m in my 20s but own a business and getting lines on my forehead so I’m tackling it along with prevention right now. I really enjoy the advice from Trinny Woodall, she has YouTube and a blog
She’s great for advice for all ages and you may find more info on there. trinnylondon.com/t-time

I also have tried the ordinary hylauronic acid and organic rose hip oil which are both amazing in this cold weather, and both great for dry skin.

Thanks BF. I didn't realise about strengths, got 0.5% in my basket the 0.2 is out of stock.
I don't have sensitive skin so hoping it'll be OK.

I’m sure it will be! I also think start gradually, using it once or twice a week and build it up to allow your skin to get used to it.
