Pre-wedding prep. Facials?

I'm getting married in a few months and I'm looking for ways to 'prep' my face so I look extra nice on the day. I'll be doing my own makeup so want to get my skin looking great.

My skin isn't dry or oily, but I get a bit of flakiness around my nose and I have some acne scarring at the side of my cheeks, and some areas with large pores. My skin is now completely acne free though. I have a good skincare routine which has improved my skin to a point, but I'm sure there is more I could be doing.

I've never had a facial or anything before, but I have sensitive skin which is putting me off. I literally have no idea where to start or what kind of treatment to actually look for! Would welcome any advice Smile

Oh OP I hoped someone had replied by now as I don't have much knowledge of facials! I have sensitive skin and recently had a dermalogica facial which was devine and as I got their skincare for Christmas have tried to keep a regime up, the therapist also gave me some testers to try out and 3 weeks later my skin still feels lovely and soft!

Go to a good local salon (look at reviews online ask for recommendations from friends co workers) and ask for advice. They should be able to make a plan discuss what you need/want advice whats achievable in the time frame.
