Fitflop have a good sale on at the moment. Looking for school run bargains but wondering if I'm treading into frumpy territory?

I’ve just bought a pair of these, hoping I can make them work. I’ll have to decide once they arrive though... I think they look alright in the photos, but I have form for liking very ugly shoes!

They are very very ugly, but if they’re comfy and you are happy then go for it

Ugly ugly ugly. I’d wear them round the house as I believe they are very comfortable. Definitely heading into frumpy territory.

Depends which ones you get. I really like the taller Mukluks (which they've stopped many) and some of the other stuff

Everyone was wearing them a few years ago, so it's not noticeable to me.

Depending on what style you are after, have a look at MBTs too - some are fugly, but trainers (and for later in the year, active sandals) are great

I've got them in black with crystals on. They were reduced to £20 from about £90 on Black Friday. They are super comfortable and I don't think they're that frumpy although I am not usually a trainer wearer so I may not be the best judge.

I live in Fitflops because I have plantar fascitis and they are the only thing that stops the pain.

They do sooooo many different styles now, some are a bit frumpy but lots aren't at all.

Just a note re online ordering- sale returns aren't free but if you order one full price item then you can send sale returns back in the same parcel for free- got told this by a very helpful person on their helpline.

Give them a try, they are so comfy and really good quality they don't wear out (I don't work for them!)

I like to these...
I genuinely can't decide if they are on the right side of ok or not. Thinking spring summer school run comfort!

Well, my FitFlop trainers have arrived... and I love them! They’re so light and comfortable, and I genuinely don’t think they stand out as being deeply uncool.

Be aware that if you buy items in the Fitflop sale you need to pay for returns. I've just returned 2 items (kept 2) and it cost me nearly £14 to return them. I wouldn't have bought them if it had been made clear in the many emails they sent me about their sale!

Sorry, just noticed the earlier comment about buying a full price item.....
