Have you seen the Jo Malone dupe perfumes in Primark? I passed them the other day and swiftly picked up a £3 Rose Oud and I love it! I haven't even smelled the others but this one is great. Albeit doesn't last as long (I respray early afternoon but for £3 I am going to keep it as my "travelling" perfume

Yes! I picked up a £3 jasmine & honey one a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It doesn't last all day but then nor do the real Jo Malones and they cost ££££££ more. It's actually one of my favourite perfumes at the moment.

insecure123 · 11/01/2019 10:20

I agree none of them last all day anyway and for £3 (or £13 for the large) who can really grumble!? I might go and try a few of the others on my lunchbreak!

If you do, don't forget to report back!

Myusernameisunique · 11/01/2019 10:25

Oooo let me know if they have a dupe of pomegranate noir if you're in smelling then again! It's my absolute fave but won't pay the money for the Jo Malone!

insecure123 · 11/01/2019 10:42

If I get along I will report back! I didn't see the exact scents as I was rushing...I just noticed the bottles and spied rose oud and grabbed it! Hopefully i can let you know by this afternoon

Yep, they do last a long time. I've been using the jasmine and honey one and I can still smell it on my scarf several days later. This reminds me I am running out and I need to stock up on some more.

LittleBlonde27 · 11/01/2019 10:58

Pear and White Flower is my favourite! Their Pomegranate is almost identical to Jo Malone too.

My partner mistook them for room sprays (because of the Aldi Jo Malone room spray dupes I had previously bought) and now our living room and bedroom smell divine Grin

Is it just perfumes ? Or do they have candles and diffusers as well?
I tried an Aldi one recently but wasn't very impressed, it didn't smell at all the same and didn't last very long.

Musicforsnorks · 11/01/2019 11:30

Pear and white flower smells dreadful when I put it on then quite beautiful a few hours later.
I’d have purchased the small size if they’d had it in stock, but no joy.

Branleuse · 11/01/2019 11:32

i havent tried, but fwiw my genuine jo malone french lime blossom has really crap longevity

insecure123 · 11/01/2019 11:36

I only seen perfumes but not to say the diffusers etc weren't also there. TBH I don't really know any of the other Jo Malone scents to compare but if I like a scent I will just buy it.

LittleBlonde27 · 11/01/2019 11:39

I don't believe they have diffusers etc as it's in the beauty range, not the home range. They do have moisturisers to go with the perfumes which I'm thinking of buying so I can layer the scents to make them last longer.

Notquiteagandt · 11/01/2019 13:07

Have they brought them out again? Any new fragrances? Know my local one had them last year and they flew out. Not seen them since. Probally because I rarely go into primark. Id make a trip for them though as was impressed last time.

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 11/01/2019 13:10

i got one, and chucked another couple in my DC's stockings. I love the Jo Malone scents, especially the Earl Grey one and the Blush Suede, but they just don't last on me, so these copies are great IMO.

Sitranced · 12/01/2019 03:13

Just picked up another bother of the jasmine in our local branch today. Seem to be stocking only the 2 scents, that one and the something and basil.

PlainJane007 · 12/01/2019 09:37

I picked up Superdrug's version of Lime Basil & Mandarin - also very good! On me it smells nicer than proper version so a no-brainer!

ModernStoneAgeFamily · 12/01/2019 09:45

I bought a Primark honey and jasmine recently , just the smaller £3 size to try and I’m rather impressed. To be fair I’ve never used the real JM perfumes but this seems pretty good to me.

I also bought one of the other perfumes they do, orange blossom, also pretty good. I’ll def be trying more.

Ive heard good things about the Aldi version too but I’ve only tried their candles so far which I’ve liked.

insecure123 · 16/01/2019 14:20

Sorry I didn't get back to Primark on Friday but after wearing my rose oud all weekend and getting 3 compliments on it I went back along at lunchtime today. I picked up "Amber Noir" and "pomegranate and black tea" both in the £3 sizes!

They did have the jasmine and honey, basil and lime (or something like that) and a freesia and pear....also one with seasalt!

I have Amber Noir in the perfume which is ok & Jasmine & Honey in the handcream which is lovely so I'm hoping to get it in the perfume.
One of my friends wears Rose Oud & it smells lush on her but vile on me.

insecure123 · 17/01/2019 07:48

I have the Amber Noir on today. I like it but I do prefer the Rose Oud

may shuffle back along at lunch and nip into the home section...

I haven’t seen the diffusers in since last year. They were all in the sake for £3. I got a few & they were brilliant. They lasted for about 10 weeks, maybe more. I like the Aldi diffusers but they don’t last as long. Hopefully Primark will bring them back!
