Where can I find black muslins?

I have never understood why they only come in white, as I am fed up of being unable to remove black mascara marks from them, even when they go in the wash.

So my logic is that black muslins will always look perfect, because you'll be unable to see the mascara!

Any ideas where I can find some?

Never seen them, but you could use dylon and dye them any colour you want?

MissMarplesKnitting · 10/01/2019 22:38

Dylon will sort them!!

You have an excellent point and I may join you in dying mine

Bigonesmallone3 · 10/01/2019 22:40

Can I ask what u use them for?

LoniceraJaponica · 10/01/2019 22:44

Removing make up I expect.

Bigonesmallone3 · 10/01/2019 22:49

I didn't know they were used for that 🤦‍♀️..

Have u tried Milton sterilising fluid on white muslins?

slappinthebass · 10/01/2019 22:55

Cuski! I have two, black ones with dark coloured stripes. Also Faye and Lou do bold block rainbow colour ones.

SimplyPut · 10/01/2019 22:57

I have white/grey 'meyco' ones from amazon. The pattern helps to hide the general stains. I also use bamboo mix reusable eye pads but they are white (well they were).

Sorry I replied thinking you meant for a baby so the Faye and lou ones were irrelevant but cuski may still have black ones. Afternaticely there are lots of reuseable make up pads for sale on Etsy, I'm sure you'd be able to find black ones. Or buy the plain black washable bamboo breast pads from Little Lambs. They are the perfect size for make up removing and quite cheap.

At first glance, I thought you were asking where you could find black 'Muslims' - like Mohammed Ali and the brothers of the 1970s. Hee hee.

Fabricland.co.uk and Amazon sell black muslin.

Superb suggestions, thank you!

Jess, that would have been quite the autocorrect! Grin

Bigone, for washing my face at the end of a long day Smile

The 'magic' makeup remover cloths might be a good alternative? They never seem to stain and they're nice and soft.
