What shampoo for longer hair?

I'm wanting to grow my hair longer. It's past my shoulders. It's grown A LOT this past year. It was bleach blonde, and snapping in some places and an inch long But since I've died it black it's grown so quickly. It's in fantastic condition now, but I'd like to grow it a few more inches.

Anyone have any tips or more specifically any shampoos that helps the hair grow?

I don't think it can though. Have heard that castor oil promotes hair growth. Maybe massage into scalp, leave, then wash off?
