Anyone else cracking their bootcuts out?

Oh the relief after years of skinnies.

I am seriously loving the look and forgot how flattering they are. Am currently wearing mine with converse or clogs and can’t wait until it is Birkenstock weather.

Will still wear other styles but I am drawn I tells ya.... 😁

All I can think of when I remember when I used to wear bootcuts is how soggy they used to get in the rain. Bleargh. Many a shoe was ruined by the colour transfer of wet denim onto them. That said, the ones I used to buy in Gap (long and lean maybe?) were flattering on my sizeable arse.

Arse size= not a insignificant consideration 😁

I can't for the life of me remember what boots i was wearing with them though. It's been so long! I really like my long boots with my skinnys tucked in during the winter. It's a good look, it's so warm and, as pp have said, practical for wet weather. Wet flares boot cuts flapping about is 'orrible.

Are they back in then?

I've never stopped wearing them, as skinnies make me look ridiculous.

Gap long n’ lean we’re amazing - I have a pair waiting. But I think it could still be a couple more years before they really catch on again.

Skinnies may be practical but increasingly that’s the first thing we say about them which isn’t a good sign. I mean fleeces and cagoules are practical too!

Yes, I'm back in them. I still wear skinnies but I was dying for a change.

I for one would be utterly delighted to see the end of skinnies. I've worn them only because bootcuts have been so out of fashion but they do absolutely nothing for me as a small, pear shaped person.
