I'm not sure how but in an effort to eradicate my moaning about yellow tones my hairdresser has gradually sent me ash...it's almost grey.

I'm not sure if it suits me but I don't want to be yellow again.....does that make sense? It looks cold,

Any advice on what to ask for when I go back next week? I'm 38 and feel like I need warming up a bit iykwim.

You could ask for some lowlights alongside highlights

Ask for them to be more creamy. I know what you mean because I can't stand the yellow or gold tones in mine but don't like it too white/grey.

Mine goes very light then puts toner on them to take out any yellow. Very creamy.

Ok, I'll ask for creamy, thanks . I'm currently browsing Pinterest for colour ideas. Such a first world problem 😀

The ash tone will warm up within a few washes they don’t last long if not maintained with toner or silver shampoo
