As someone with curly hair I would say don't even think about it....

Aprilshowerswontbelong · 09/01/2019 15:21

Belong on a poodle.
Sorry but you did ask.

Putinka · 09/01/2019 15:21

Seconded! (Another curly haired poster here.)

Putinka · 09/01/2019 15:22

April beat me to it. I'm in complete agreement with Mercurial123

halfwitpicker · 09/01/2019 15:27

Nah

halfwitpicker · 09/01/2019 15:27

Or bah 🐑 should I say

GlossyTaco · 09/01/2019 15:30

No. I have curly hair and ended up straightening the thing daily as I got so cross with it. I always woke up with the fringe trying to escape my forehead and in some horrid flicky mess. I grew it out.

Mercurial123 · 09/01/2019 15:33

I had one in the 90's it was awful. My friend with super curly hair used to bring a large hair roller out with her and we'd dry our fringes straight under the hand dryer at Paddington station on a big night out...... Please don't do it....

Bluesmartiesarebest · 09/01/2019 15:39

It depends on your hair type and texture. My hair is fine textured so I just need a bit of gel and 2 seconds with a brush to make my fringe look styled. It frames my face and softens my features but I know it isn’t for everyone with curls.

fishonabicycle · 09/01/2019 16:38

My hair is wavy - fringe was a total disaster! I had to straighten it every day, and it never lasted for any time at all. And then the ends went all damaged. Never again.

mistressploppy · 09/01/2019 18:39

Thanks all. Confirming my suspicions! I've got fine wavy/curly hair and it's so bloody damaged I really want to chop it all off and just wondered if I dare....thanks for talking me down Grin
