J Brand black skinny jeans recommendations

Anyone got J Brand black skinny jeans? I'm looking to order some online (can't really get to the kind of shops that sell them :-)

I think I'm a 27 waist, size 8-10 (which I am, although I'm a true 8 in vanity sizing shops but I'm a pear shape so I don't have skinny thighs) so that should be ok but do they have a lot of stretch? If so I might go for a 26. Or are they quite hard to get on? In which case the 27 or even the 28?

I'm going for high rise (mid rise days are over, sob!) and I'm average height. I want ankle length ones not capri.

If anyone has any style name recommendations for the brand, I'd be grateful!

If you want high rise skinnies from J Brand you need the Maria. I would say they were true to size (I'm a UK10 and go for a 28'). They do contain elastane and so they stretch a little from new on or after washing but not massively just a little. I wouldn't size down.

Even though black is a core colour, then tend to change the wash name every year, so surprisingly lots of places sell off last seasons in the sale, even though they are exactly the same! Check out NAP, Matches, and the Outnet. Very Exclusive also sell them but they are OOS in your size at the moment.

Thank you blackberry bay, I'll have a look into those! I'm new to J Brand (usually just an Oasis girl!) but I've heard they are a really good fit etc so I'm looking to step up a bit.

Funny about the wash names changing every year even though they probably look the same!

J Brand jeans are fantastic, and better for the fact that thy repeat a lot of styles, like the Maria, year after year and just change the colour slightly or even just the name.

Yes! Maria’s are great jeans! I had two pairs and they are fab, would get another pair in a heartbeat. Its like a photoshop of jeans and they r super comfy too
I am a size 10 (with a bigger bum), and wear size 27. Can squeeze myself into size 26 too but its just not comfy. So yes, defo size down.
