Cream jumper dress, what tights?

I always wear thick black woolly tights but I have some navy boots and brown boots that would look good with dress, but stuck on tights? Can’t wear sheer as tall and dress quite short, and have quite chunky legs! Advice please?

I would wear brown tights and brown boots

Light grey with navy boots or YY to burgundy with brown boots.
