Shoes for jegging type trousers

Hi, I have jeggingy type trousers that I wear to work, but now that its getting cold, my ballet pump/ mocassin shoes are leaving my feet cold. What other type shoes can i wear? I have pointy ankly boots, but then i end up looking like the guitarist from Roxette. Any other ideas? I have a smart casual dress code at work. thanks

thanks sleep, i should have said that there may be times that I need to attend court so they need to be wearable for those kind of places (aswell as the times I am in office).
