Palettes - which should I get?

If you had to choose between these three palettes, which would you get? I already have Urban Decay Naked 2 and 3, if that makes a difference.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry

Urban Decay Naked

Stila Matte & Metals

Does anyone have the Stila one? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Which colours are you missing from your current collection?

MoneyHoney · 07/01/2019 14:37

Urban decay backtalk is lovely and has to the cheek/highlight side too

45andahalf · 07/01/2019 14:52

I'm not really bothered about cheeks... I have a few blushers I like, and also a couple of BECCA highlighters I love! I have a lot of neutral palettes but I don't go for really vivid colours as a rule, so have been hesitating with the Cherry palette. I have quite a few of the Stila liquid eye shadows, and got a gift set with more for Christmas - it had a red one which I had a play around with today and really liked it so I thought maybe I should get the Cherry after all... I'm wondering if the other two are really necessary if I have Naked 2 & 3 already? I like the look of the Stila one though! I kind of want all 3.

Naked cherry looks good... on offer in John Lewis at the mo too!

BusterGonad · 07/01/2019 15:22

The Stila looks a bit boring BUT I bet it will be one you reach for time after time. I'd be buying that one!

AmyLou777 · 07/01/2019 15:25

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk is amazing!!! My holy grail! Xx

MoneyHoney · 07/01/2019 15:25

Naked cherry has a lot more red tones

Ollivander84 · 07/01/2019 15:36

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry? That's on my wish list!

StatisticallyChallenged · 07/01/2019 16:13

What about Anastasia beverly hills modern renaissance? has the pinky reds, plus some lovely lighter shades

MissElaineNeus · 07/01/2019 17:06

I got the cherry for Christmas and love it.

violetbunny · 07/01/2019 17:39

I have all three of those. The Stila one is good, but it's very neutral, as is Naked obviously. I'd go with Naked Cherry as it's quite different from what you have. You can do quite subtle or bold looks with it.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 07/01/2019 17:45

I'm a Pat McGrath addict, so I received this www.patmcgrath.com/collections/mini-eye-shadow-palettes/products/mthrshp-sublime-bronze-ambition

for Christmas and this one www.patmcgrath.com/collections/mini-eye-shadow-palettes/products/mthrshp-subversive-metalmorphosis

as well as a whole lot of lipsticks, lip liners, eye pencils and lip glosses and balms. Great British brand!

If I had to choose, I'd go with the cherry, especially, if you have light coloured eyes. It's a nice contrast. I was a regional MUA in another life! ;smile]

correction Smile

Thanks everyone! Lots of Cherry recommendations. Is Anastasia Beverly Hills a good brand? And Huda? There are a lot of brands out there that I’m unfamiliar with! For years, I stuck to really safe (eg clarins, ysl) or not very expensive brands, but I’m a bit better off and a bit less tired now my DS is getting older, so I can invest in make up a bit more. What about Two Faced?

And I’d never heard of Pat McGraph, thanks MissLane

I love ABH. I also really like makeup geek (sold on beauty bay)

45andahalf · 07/01/2019 20:59

Is it weird that I prefer palettes with square or rectangular pans?

ABH modern renaissance and the naked cherry palette are both amazing pigment. Desert dusk
Pigment isn't as good which is a shame cu z the colours are fab xx

StatisticallyChallenged · 07/01/2019 21:14

I'd rate ABH over every brand I've tried. Huda have lovely texture but not as pigmented, vica versa for Urban decay imo. All good though

Beerflavourednipples · 07/01/2019 21:35

I would probably get the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance as well if I were you. I think it's regarded as one of the best palettes ever, everyone seems to love it!

45andahalf · 08/01/2019 09:10

Argh! I kinda wish I hadn't asked you all, because now I want the ABH palette AND the first three....

Oooo and those NARS ones look lovely too!

Freco010 · 08/01/2019 09:29

I would look at the Tarte palettes too!

ZacharyQuack · 08/01/2019 10:00

Get Urban Decay Born to Run.

Lots of colour options and really good quality (square pans too!)
