DD11 dandruff - which shampoo

DD11 has started with quite bad dandruff. I assume it's a combination of hormonal changes and also possibly not rinsing shampoo well enough - she has incredibly thick hair which is a challenge to wash. I'm helping her with rinsing now, but wondered what shampoos are worth trying, especially as some of them seem £££ so I'd rather start with something well-reviewed.

T gel - smells medicated. Use every time at first but then intermittently

Second T gel

Or shampoo bars! I haven't had any issues since I started using them but I did with every other shampoo I tried. I couldn't even use T gel intermittently, it had to be used all the time otherwise my scalp would flake.

x-pel from Savers helped my dc a lot.

Alphosyl

Great - thanks for all the suggestions. She loves Lush, so would be happy with getting a shampoo bar to use once we've got the worst of it sorted with a medicated shampoo.

Nizoral is very effective (more so than T-gel imo) but expensive. You can only get it from the pharmacy.
